2001 Jaguar XK8 Coupe 2+2 Auto - Odometer reading 62,630 miles - 10 x Service Stamps - New MOT Launched in 1998, the XK8 superseded the XJ-S as Jaguars flagship grand tourer and was their first generation of the XK incarnation. The XK8 featured Jaguar's new 32-valve AJ-V8 power-plant, delivering an impressive 370 BHP with stability enhancement provided by adaptive suspension. The model's popularity peaked when the car was used as the villain vehicle in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day where it took part in one of the most famous cinematic car chases through an Icelandic glacial lagoon pursuing 007 in his Aston Martin Vanquish. This particular XK8 comes in Sapphire Blue Metallic elegantly complimented by ivory leather upholstery. Whilst we could find no missiles in the front radiator grille, our Jaguar comes with 18" Flute alloy wheels which were an optional factory upgrade from the standard 17 alloys. The car reports as driving with perfect road manners, and makes swift progress with silky-smooth transmission. A very well-appointed car with plenty of power and poise. The original Jaguar book-pack appears to contain its full complement of books and pamphlets, including Service Book, which records ten services. The current MOT certificate is valid until November 2022. - Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd December to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.
