India – Punjab – group of six miniatures probably on ivory each showing a fine building including the Taj Mahal 19th c attached to an original sheet with ms captions for each and with printed advertisement for Kshan Chand shawl merchant jeweller and dealer in Indian curios of The Mall Simla- backing sheet now somewhat distressed – miniatures in good order. Two are round with 10mm diameters and the other four are oval and measure approx 20x10mm. These were clearly produced for the tourist trade and presumably for incorporation in jewellery
