A box containing assorted 19th and early 20th Century carved ivory, to include a carved ivory teapot of plain form, a similar teacup and saucer, a stanhope in the form of binoculars inscribed "Cailo Mount" to sides, a pipe tamper in the form of a leg with boot and spat, a square box containing various patterns, a carved bone cribbage board, a miniature cricket bat, a "paper or fruit knife", inscribed, etc, together with a wooden box containing a set of bone dominoes

A 19th Century Japanese Meiji Period carved ivory netsuke in the form of a bearded gentleman seated by a floral decorated screen with two oni peering from behind the screen, the back decorated with a four-toed dragon, signed to base, approx 4.1 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall general wear and scuffs. One of the horns to the figure to the top of the screen is broken off and missing. Overall quite yellowed and browned and quite a lot of dirt. Some small hairline cracks to the ivory visible to the underside and the edges of the screen. Some chips to the toes of the figure to the side of the screen.

A Japanese black lacquered inro decorated as a cage containing three birds, the base of the case decorated with two three-toed dragons, raised on red cabriole legs, the inro made up of four sections and a lid, the cord set with a carved ivory ball, the inro approx 7.2 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The ivory ball has a large cracks and some yellowing and discolouration. The lacquered inro itself has some light wear and scuffs and one of the sections is slightly stiff. Some rubbing and wear to the lips to interior where sections have been opened and closed. Some dirt and deposits to interiors. Bears a label to interior which is partially stuck down and bears script. There is an area of damage to the exterior to one side and sections of the raised beaded laquered edges are missing in this area, and an area of the giltwork beside it is missing and is currently plain black (please see photos), some of the blue/green decoration around this area is also missing.
