George III oak bureau, fall front enclosing a fitted interior, with ivory handles, four long graduating drawers, bracket feet, width 92cm, depth 49cm, height 107cm.Condition report:The side panels both have multiple splits running vertically. Some fairly evident scratches to the left hand side of the fall front. The fall front itself doesn't sit level when down - the hinges do not give it the clearance from the main body so it can't lay level (could be remedied with adjustment to hinges). The interior is particularly tired, secitons of veneer loss around the drawers and holes, missing pulls, losses to the escutcheon to interior cupboard. Drawer linings are split, but appear sound. Some missing lengths of drawer trim/ outlines. Repairs to feet. No keys. No evidence of woodworm.
