Y A specimen timber and inlaid dome top box, 19th century, in Italian taste and with bands of Tunbridgeware type decoration, 16cm high, 27cm wide, 15cm deep, containing a collection of ivory, treen and similar items; including a pepper box and cover, 5cm high, a marrow scoop, 10cm long, four various snuff 'shoes', a further shoe, a George III mahogany and inlaid tea caddy, 11cm high, and a lacquer pot lid, 9.5cm diameterCondition Report: All items with marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, old splits and cracks, some chips and lossesThe dome top box: previously velvet lined, this remains to the lid and the base but is dirty and peelingThe tea caddy: Old marks and stains, chips and losses, the interior lined which is also almost all missingThe snuff shoes: old chips and losses, the pewter example with scratches and mis-shapingThe further shoe in better condition, The marrow scoop screws nicely in place in both the open and shut positions, the pepper pot with splits and cracks including to the lid The pot lid with chips, losses, wearPlease refer to additional images for visual reference to condition for the items in this lot Condition Report Disclaimer
