BCM (Derby), Cap Guns - A boxed BCM (Derby) 'The 'Outlaw' Buntline Special Revolver, with a unboxed Buntline Special Revolver gun. Both finished in black die cast metal with long barrel and ivory plastic embossed grips. Trigger operates; opening mechanism stiff and as a result chamber does not open; five plastic bullets are visible in chamber. Pistol is presented within a Good overall box with some scuffs and general storage wear Unboxed version has a matt finish to metal. Trigger operates and chamber opens revealing three plastic bullets. Overall condition appears Good. Both pistols embossed 'Buntline Special'. (2) As the law stands. It is legal to own"toy" guns as long as they are "by any reasonable person" recognised as such. As these are not full-sized and are also replicas of single-action 19th century pistols, it is highly unlikely that they could be confused with the real thing. Therefore it is our opinion that it is legal to sell.
