A late 17th century Flemish ebony and kingwood cabinet, inlaid ivory stringing, with geometric panelled decoration, the hinged top revealing a vacant compartment above a pair of doors with a ripple moulding enclosing an arrangement of nine drawers, three with veneered linings, all fitted with later brass ring handles, originally with side carrying handles, on an associated and later ebonised stand with winged paw feet, 94.8cm high, 103cm wide, 47.7cm deep. Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.

A 19th century Chinese export lacquer sewing box, decorated in gilt with panels of figures in various pursuits, with bands of dragons and foliage, the interior with a lift-out tray with lidded compartments and divisions, with ivory utensils including reels and thimble cases, the base with a drawer fitting a hinged writing slope and divisions for pens and ink, with side carrying handles and on carved giltwood paw feet, 16.6cm high, 35.5cm wide, 26.6cm deep.
An Indian rosewood and ivory inlaid occasional table, the circular detachable top inlaid an ebony and mother of pearl chequer board flanked by oval panels of famous buildings and titled `BOMBAY, CALCUTTA, DELHI, AGRA` within scrolling flowers and foliage, the underside with the remains of paper labels on a folding octagonal base, late 19th / early 20th century, 52.5cm high, 55.5cm diameter.

Length 9 º in., Width 3 æ in., Depth 2 in. Weight 408.5 g. Good overall condition. There is some warping and yellowing due to age.
