A Chinese fan, malacca sticks with gilt decoration, the painted paper applied painted ivory faces and silk robes, in a lacquered fan box, 31.5 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GH Box has loose hinges with some chips and marks to paint. No major damage or restoration. Corners scuffed, giltwork generally good. The fan is structurally in good condition with all the paper intact and no damage to the opening and closing mechanism. Some of the painted area is scuffed and won on the folds. Some of the applied faces have possibly been reglued at some point. One of the faces on one side is missing. No obvious signs of any restoration or repainting. Overall fairly good. The total length of the fan from top to bottom is 29 cm, including the brass clip
