A 1950's Japanese Silk Kimono, ivory silk, beautifully embroidered in silver metallic thread, depicting bamboo and cranes in flight. The sash (obi) embroidered with chrysanthemum and cranes. The kimono hem is quilted with red silk and the whole garment is fully lined in red silk. This kimono is complete with accessories including zori and tabi. This wonderful example is believed to be a wedding kimono and brought back from a Japanese vintage shop.
