Antique Irish silver melon shaped tea pot with a panelled body having a multiple flower head and leaf design with the central panels to each side having a scroll and shell shaped cartouche, raised on 4 scrolled shaped feet with a similar scroll design handle with 2 ivory separators with the hinged lid having a cast silver bird knop. The one cartouche to the body has an engraved bird design crest, similar to the bird knop, and the other cartouche is engraved `Presented by the Rector & Parishioners of Schull to their late Curate the Revd Charles Donovan as a mark of their esteem and regard, Augt 1st 1843`. Hallmarked Dublin 1842 with James Moore and Edward Murray makers marks, together with a matching cream jug, tea pot height 16cm. Gross weight 1268 grams.

A Japanese lacquered and shibayama two-fold screen, the panels on an ivory coloured ground depicting immortals with a dragon and mythical bird respectively, inlaid with shaded ivory and mother-of-pearl, within a black ground painted with blossom, the frames decorated with mythical birds, scrolls and foliage on cinnamon coloured ground, supplementary panels under with flowers acanthus and rockwork, the reverse sides painted with song birds amongst foliage, signed, as fault, 189cm high, panel width:73cm.
