An Exhibition Quality Elkington & Co Champleve Enamel and Chryselephantine Inkstand, the central vase receptacle with hinged cover and ovoid finial revealing a cut glass inkwell and funnel, supported by two bejewelled Indian elephant heads with ivory tusks, supporting taperstick sconces in their upturned trunks, upon an integral shallow shaped circular dish with eight equally spaced ogivel arched motifs, decorated overall with Indo-Persian floral motifs, applied with oval tablet to the rim underside, stamped "948 published by Elkington & Co", and engraved on the pedestal foot rim 1870.30 - 4, (19.5cm high, 27.5cm wide}.
A George III Harewood Work Box, rectangular, crossbanded in satinwood and edged with box, the lid revealing an olive silk lined compartmented interior containing numerous original and associated accessories, including a lathe ivory turned basket pin cushion, snow flakes, a variety of other thread winders, six turned bone thread barrels, gold, engraved bodkin case, two sewing clamps, an awl, and a pique necessaire (damage), a slim fascia drawer also containing numerous items including an 18th century silk and embroidered purse worked in silvered thread and coloured silks with strawberry and cornflower meanders, and a basket of pansies, strawberries and other flowers, containing feathers and painted gauze, two miser's purses, and threads, {30.5cm wide} (box requires restoration, numerous veneers and mouldings lifting).
A William IV Tortoiseshell Veneered and Mother of Pearl Inlaid Sarcophagus Work Box, the upswept lid with centre panel inlaid with a profusion of flowers and leaves, a band of husks to the lid front and flanked by floret bosses, internally lined in light blue silk, divided into numerous compartments which retain a considerable number of original implements, accessories and keep-sakes, including four turned bone thread barrels, two ivory clamps, a pique inlaid ivory toothpick box, five snowflakes, two tape measures, a thimble, a penknife, an awl, two pairs of scissors (one damaged), assorted old letters including one addressed from Wycliffe to Carlton Hall, the fascia drawer enclosing further accessories including a tortoiseshell spool, a mother of pearl bodkin case, tatting shuttles and an "envelop" of lavender , the whole raised on outswept acanthus leaf feet, {16cm high, 30cm wide}.
A Tortoiseshell Veneered and Steel Mounted Single Division Tea Caddy, circa 1830, the upswept panelled lid with steel pedestal vase finial and pewter wire stringing, the main body moulded to imitate osier weaving, internally with flat lid with marine ivory sphere knob, the whole raised on four steel flattened bun feet, {14cm high, 11.5cm wide}.

A 17th Century Stumpwork and Needlework Casket, rectangular, the white satin ground worked in relief and with loosely hanging detail enriched with seed pearls, mica, purl, painted threads, chenille and raised work, with scenes extending to the sides, front, back and lid illustrating Old Testament stories in sequenced vignettes of Abraham and Isaac, Jacob and Rebekah, and Ishmael and Hagar, against an ivory ground, the narrow side panels of the lid worked with diverse animals and birds, including a lion, panther, rabbit, cockerel/dragon, red squirrel, kingfisher, and insects including caterpillars and flies, flowers including cyclamen, rose, foxglove, clary and eglantine, with gilt brass shaped key escutcheon, the edges of the box are lined with silver and gold wire "ticking", internally lined with pink silk, {30cm by 25.5cm by 16cm} (feet lacking, and hand painted papers underneath rubbed).

An Ivory Jewel Casket, probably Italian, first third of 19th century, of sarcophagus shape, the lid surmounted by a group of Ganymede and the Eagle, well carved in the manner of the dal Pozzo workshops after Thorwaldsen, set on a lid carved in relief with richly scrolling acanthus, the sides with reliefs of groups of Amorini, allegorical of the story of Ganymede and Hebe, goddess of youth, based on contemporary sculptures by Thorwaldsen and Canova, upon winged lion paw feet, {22.5cm high, 20.5cm wide}.
A Large Ivory Tankard, German or Austrian, 19th century, the sides vigorously carved with a classical battle scene with horsemen including Alexander the Great, the handle with a bound slave, the lid surmounted by an equestrian group of Marius Curtius (spear lacking), the underside of the lid pasted with a sale footnote, perhaps from a Christie's catalogue, giving provenance as "From the Collection of the Earl of Egerton", {38cm high}.
