A 17th century ebony and ivory marquetry cabinet, the fall front centred a mythological scene including a beheading, a satyr chasing a woman amidst bulrushes, a man next to a peacock, within a palmwood border to masks and fruiting foliage, to quartered rosewood panels and further ivory inlay, the reverse with a similar panel of a figure playing a pipe and shepherd with animals and birds, to an arrangement of thirty various ash lined drawers and a locked cupboard door, all with baroque architectural mouldings, some with brass knob handles and containing a large collection of shells, with iron side carrying handles, one missing, the sides with ebony and ivory marquetry, South German or North Italian, 19.75in (50cm) h, 25.75in (65.5cm) w, 15.75in (40cm) d, on a later mahogany veneered and marquetry inlaid stand. A fine mid Victorian macassar ebony and brass mounted travelling toilet set by Asprey, the hinged lid centred an inlaid brass monogram `WLL`, the underside with a leather stationery pouch, inscribed `ASPREY MANUFACTURER TO HER MAJESTY, 166. BOND ST. W.`, to a fitted plush and leather lined interior of twenty cut glass and silver gilt mounted bottles and boxes, each foliate engraved and engine turned with the monogram `WLL`, the silver hallmarked for James Beebe, London 1869, with hinged compartments, above a fall front with two ivory backed hand mirrors and a shoe horn, to a drawer with a sunken handle, with a leather lidded compartment and three ivory backed brushes, the gilt brass hinges and lock plates with foliate engraved decoration, the lock inscribed `ASPREY 166 BOND ST`, with a sliding lock escutcheon inscribed `ASPREY PATENT`, with key, 8.75in (21.4cm) h, 14.5in (36.9cm) w, 10.75in (27.3cm) d.
An early 20th century mahogany cocktail cabinet by Asprey, London, the moulded edge hinged top revealing a fitted rising interior with a pair of cut glass decanters and stoppers, four wine glasses, four liqueur glasses, two tumblers, a box and cover, a pair of mixers, a plated tray and a cocktail shaker and a twin handled mahogany tray, above a cupboard the door with an ivory plaque inscribed `ASPREY LONDON`, on brass castors, 32.75in (83cm) h, 22.5in (57cm) w, 17in (43cm) d.
