A fine Chinese Export carved ivory box, Canton, c. 1800, the rectangular box with hinged cover densely carved throughout with a multitude of figures at leisure amongst pavilions and pine trees, on horseback, in boats, playing instruments, and in conversation, within imitation bamboo borders, fitted with a pair of white metal carrying handles. 8cm by 20.5cm by 12cm.
A fine Edwardian mahogany display cabinet, the projecting cornice over two glazed doors centred by a glazed niche, enclosing an ivory damask-lined interior, the centre bow front base with two panelled doors, raised on square tapered supports united by a shaped under tier, with allover chequered and string inlay. 191cm by 121cm by 45cm

Interior of box has been torn and areas of rubbing. Some small knocks and areas of loss to the ivory. Areas of rubbing to the fan leaf. Wear consistent with age and usage. Pin and tassle have been replaced.

Some small knocks, cracks and areas of loss to the carvings. Some figures faces and robes have been re-attached. Some wear to the leaf, mainly the folds. Box has some chips and the interior is torn in places. Colours bright.

Example with gentleman ij curled brown wig, wearing armor and red sash - on copper. Example with man with brown hair, moustache and white ruff is on copper, Circular example with man with white ruff and blue tunic is on a thin panel which is has not been removed from backng but it is very cold to the touch and may be copper. Oval example with man in black hat with white ruff, indiistinctly signed Aeta X ?, not inspected out of frame, possilby on wood or copper. Larger oval portrait of gentleman in blue coat is on copper.
A 19th century Continental carved ivory mythological bust and associated stand and plinth, together with a 19th century carved ivory Bacchanalian figure standing on an ebonised plinth, the bust on stand L15cm overall Condition Report: The bust is finely carved, it has a small flat chip to front edge, some very minor discolouration to helmet. The stand that it sits on is associated and it is not properly connected to this. There is a small turned ivory screw attachment to top of turned base. The base itself is ok. The Bacchic figure cracked and repaired through raised right arm and left hand holding the grapes, some surface scratching to reverse and areas of yellow discolouration.
A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese carved ivory box, with frettwork panels of flowers, foliage and birds at the side, with key, L9cm Condition Report: Measurements: 9 cm x 7.2cm x 3cm. Front base panel with small crack and with associated loss at lock, the top front panel has been restuck and the side top panel is slightly loose. The top does not sit flush on the base. Glue is evident to corners so panels may have been restuck. The base is cracked and has split away from sides. The carved panels and frettwork is ok. The lock does not function.
