Glasgow & Greenock Makers to the Admiralty, 4-inch silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for up/down indication and seconds, dial signed and numbered M2537, single fusee movement numbered 2560, "Earnshaws", spring detent escapement, "Harrison's" maintaining power, temperature compensation balance with weights and timing screws, free sprung blued steel helical hairspring, diamond endstone, movement contained within a gimbal, gimbal numbered 3972, 19cm by 18cm by 18cm, together with outer fitted mahogany case See illustrations.
