A 19th Century mahogany medicine cabinet, the two doors to the front opening to reveal fitted compartment for glass medicine bottles, glass pestle and mortar and brass scales, the back sliding open to reveal four further bottle compartments, 22 cm x 26.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Various scratches, scuffs, marks, some small water marks etc throughout. One door with two significant cracks running through it and various white marks and could benefit with a bit of TLC. Opening to reveal twelve assorted glass bottles, not all probably original. Most stoppers jammed into the bottles and do not come free easily. Some stoppers with small chips. Bottom drawer with missing ivory handle and has extra drilled hole where presumably once a replaement handle stood. The smallest bottle in the bottom drawer with various losses to the collar. Some small chips again to the other three bottles in this drawer. Various general signs of sear and tear throughout.. Compartment to the reverse missing most of its bottles. One remains with a large chip to the collar and two smaller bottles. Locking mechanism for the back compartment is jammed and needs attention. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout. Sliding back door has various losses also.

Two 19th Century ivory brisé fans depicting scenes of figures in a landscape with pagodas, etc CONDITION REPORTS One fan is only carved on one side and has 21 sticks not including the ends. Areas of discolouration as well as some small areas of damage. There appears to have ben some glue on the back of the sticks, possibly holding the ribbon in place originally. The other fan is carved both sides and has 19 sticks excluding ends. Ribbon is broken in several places. Discolouration throughout. Has some areas of damage to the carved areas. Both are in need of a clean, have general wear conducive with age and use - see images for further details
LOUISA CORSI "Young girl in bonnet", a head and shoulders portrait study, oval, miniature, oil on ivory, signed lower left, 6.3 cm x 5 cm CONDITION REPORTS S0me light scratches. Ivory is laid onto card. Some small losses of paint including an area to her black dress. Some dark spotted type marks. General small signs of wear and tear throughout.

Indian School (19th/20th century) - 'Taj Mahal, Four Views', inscribed, also bearing a further inscription 'Ours: Is a Monument that Speaks' with the original cost price of £55 in 1974, watercolour on ivory, oval, a set of four all contained within a gilt mount and frame, each 1.75" x 2.25", overall size including the frame, 8.25" x 9.25"
THREE FRAMED MINIATURES to include: portrait of Ludwig van Beethoven on ivory, 6 x 5cm approx.; portrait of Lady Sheffield, bearing signature: Pecheur, on ivory, 8.5 x 6.5cm approx. and portrait of a woman in 18th Century dress, possibly Marie Antoinette, bearing signature: Duzuy, on ivory, 6cm diameter. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Beethoven appearing good overall, Pecheur miniature has split to ivory above hat, the French miniature has woodworm to the frame although the miniature itself appears good. None has been removed from the frame.
CHINESE DESIGN LACQUERED WORK BOX, overall decorated with gilded chinoiserie patterns, having removable mirror to the inside of the hinged cover, lift out tray to the interior and lower, fitted frieze drawer. Internally with various mother-of-pearl, ivory and bone items. 31 x 16 x 24cm. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall in good condition, commensurate with age, general wear to gilding, evident through use. Hinges may have been repaired at some stage but appearing quite good.
