A good Japanese bronze and ivory okimono of a huntsman, Meiji period, the huntsman aiming his musket into the distance with a rabbit suspended from his belt, standing on a carved wood naturalistic base, engraved single character to his robes, 34cm high

Lot 25

John Morton & Co. of Glasgow. A mahogany cased 2.5 day marine chronometer, with brass mounted case, silvered dial with up / down and seconds indicators, signed and numbered 201, unsigned movement with helical suspension spring and blued steel details, case 7.25 x 7.25in. height 8in.CONDITION: Case possibly repolished at some time, now with numerous small dents and knocks, ivory plaque to the front named and numbered to match, internally a Husun label to the back of the case, brass work with light spotting and wear to the lacquering, silvered dial in good order, one or two small areas of oxidisation spotting, movement in good running condition, brass work numbered 6816, original working key for the case.

Lot 366

A 19th century Dieppe ivory wall mirror, of arched rectangular form with oval plate, applied with numerous carvings, crested with a coat of arms and the motto 'POVR.Y.PARVENIR', cherubs, shields and oak leaf motifs, W.1ft 10.5in. H.2ft 10in.CONDITION: Overall in very good clean condition, some of the applied carved ivories are slightly loose with one or two having lost their fixing pins but overall looks to be complete but for the loss of a few pins and one oak leaf near the lower right cherub, plate is old and probably original with some scuffing and speckling to the silvering.

Lot 10

An 18th century ormolu chatelaine, cast with classical figures and scrolls, the main central body housing a gilt bladed folding knife, a pencil, a bodkin, an ivory divider and a pair of scissors, one side compartment holding a thimble, overall length 7.5in.CONDITION: Essentially in good condition with slight rubbing to the raised sections on the case, something missing from one of the two smaller compartments, the main body has a working catch and apertures for two missing tools.

A late 19th/early 20th century 9ct gold curb link charm bracelet, hung with with assorted charms, including Gas Institute medallion, 1914 half sovereign, enamelled locket, ivory aide memoir, carnelian set fob seal, etc, gross weight 107 grams.CONDITION: Overall condition is generally good commensurate wit age and some use.

Lot 369

A Sheraton Revival ladies 'bonheur de jour', with cylinder front, decorated with muses, ribbons and flowers, the upper superstructure with central door and four short drawers over a mechanical action cylinder enclosing fitted interior and a lower drawer, on turned tapered legs, W.2ft 9in. D.1ft 6in. H.5ft 4in.CONDITION: Overall in good untouched condition, dark rich treacle tone to the satinwood and slightly dull finish to the paint work, central door has key to working lock and encloses a single shelf, handles are turned ivory - some have minor hairline cracking, the cylinder action is very stiff and does open but reluctantly so, no key present for lock, interior good, central door has working key as does the lower drawer.

A Colt London 1851 Percussion Cap Navy Revolver, No. 1811 with ivory grip, length 13in.CONDITION: Overall with a dull brownish patination which has been rubbed in places, stamped ADDRESS COL COLT LONDON to the top of the barrel, Colts Patent number 1811 to the cylinder and Colt Patent above the trigger, similarly numbered to the underside of the frame and the brass trigger guard, mounts to the butt are ivory and there are export implications for that.
