A late 19th century ivory mercury thermometer of plain tapering form, on carved black slate cylindrical base, height 24.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: General surface dirt and minor wear, some staining to ivory, a few areas of scratches and a couple of natural splits, particularly to the base of ivory part, the ivory body has been reglued to the base with crude traces of glue, several chips to the base including two to the edge.
A late 19th century walking stick with well carved ivory handle in the form of a hound's head with glass inset eyes and silver collar, length 80cm, and a further walking cane with associated ivory handle, length 89cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Regarding dog handle: Pronounced crack to back of head and further hairlines to back of head and far top, further nick/dent to top of snout and general surface wear, silver collar dented, stick with usual wear.Regarding man handle: Chip to rim at front, hairline crack to left side of face, split down middle of back possibly from manufacture, further small splits and hairlines throughout to include front section from scroll to rim, stick with usual wear.

CONDITION REPORT: Appears to be in generally good condition apart from a few glazing imperfections to the base and some traces of wear.

A Royal Worcester blush ivory floral decorated twin handled vase of globular form with slender tapering neck, raised on spreading circular foot, marked in puce to base, date code for 1897, number 784, height 18cm, a similar white glazed ewer, number 783 and a floral transfer decorated bowl registered number 115187 (3). CONDITION REPORT: The bush ivory vase with rubbing to the gilt and surface dirt, the ewer appears to be in good condition apart from a few areas of glazing imperfections (pitting), the bowl in good condition apart from wear to the inside (scratches) all with no traces of damage or restoration when examined under the UV light.
A pair of Royal Worcester blush ivory gilt heightened floral decorated quadrilobed plates, marked in puce to bases, date codes for 1896 and 1903, no.1412, diameter 19.5cm, and a shaped gadrooned dish with C-scroll handle, 1897, also a circular jardinière with pierced rim and blossoming branch mould decoration, no.139, diameter 17cm (4). CONDITION REPORT: The plates appear to be in generally good condition with some minor surface dirt and areas of rubbing to the gilt in areas of flower decoration, the dish with several areas of small restorations to the tips of the rim, and with chip to upper edge of the rim, also area of restoration to upper parts of the handle, the bowl appears to be in good condition with only some surface wear and dirt particularly to the inside.
A late 19th century Royal Worcester blush ivory vase with painted floral decoration and gilt detail, puce mark to base with date code for 1896 (later converted to a lamp base), height 21cm, also to include two similar smaller Turn Wien vases (3) CONDITION REPORT: Worcester vase has been converted into a lamp base with a whole bored into it, rubbing to gilt and painted detail and numerous surface marks though no apparent traces of damage or restoration, Turn Wien vases heavily grazed and with some rubbing to decoration.

CONDITION REPORT: There is a vertical split to the base and other small splits particularly to back and gourd.
A 19th century Chinese hardwood (probably Zitan) carved Chinese panel decorated with dragons and inset with a detailed bronze rectangular plaque above a further detailed ivory plaque, signed to the reverse, 28 x 25cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small area of old repair to the inner border of carving, a few knocks to the frame, the panel itself is in good order.

CONDITION REPORT: This item is in good condition.
A good Japanese Meiji period carved ivory okimono depicting a young woman holding two fans wearing elaborate detailed costume and signed to mother of pearl roundel to foot, height 18.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The tip of her left foot has been broken and crudely glue repaired, there is a section of the fan held in her left hand missing, overall quite dirty and would benefit from a clean but otherwise ok.
A 19th century tortoiseshell tea caddy with a hinged sarcophagus lid and cylindrical columns to each corner on turned bun feet, width 19cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: Areas of chipping and splits to the veneer and dirt and wear commensurate with age and usage, heavy wear and staining to the interior, losses to the ivory detail, heavy staining to the bun feet.

CONDITION REPORT: The first box is in good condition, the lid to the second box has a small repair to the lid and a hairline crack, otherwise both items are in good order.

CONDITION REPORT: There is old glue residue to the mans tool but it is not damaged, just reattached to figure, both are overall in ok condition.

CONDITION REPORT: Wear throughout commensurate with age, numerous areas of small losses to inlay and some losses to ivory and ebony detailed edges, tarnish to brass bounds of the corners, interior requires mild restoration, handwriting to the inside to include Sanscrit marks, general surface dirt, key missing.

Luigi Pasquale was the vendor's great, great grandfather and this lot has been in the family since its creation. CONDITION REPORT: Please note that mirror is no longer present with the lot.
