The cream-jug rocks slightly when placed on a flat surface. There is some wear and loss to the plating on the tray.

The kettle is marked for 1829, the stand and the other pieces are all marked for 1830. Both the teapot and the hot-water jug are somewhat ill-fitting in the stand and are perhaps are not originally intended to go together.

They also had seven children before her death after which John married Dorcas, the Bishop of Peterborough’s daughter (Widow of a Colonel How). Condition Mixed condition. Generally good.
