A WWII period German Third Reich Luftwaffe dagger, with Nazi insignia to the oak leaf decorated pommel, faux ivory wirework grip and blade inscribed 'Schuttel Hofer & Co, A550, Solingen-Wald', with scabbard, overall length 43cm. CONDITION REPORT: PLEASE NOTE: we are unable to post this lot using our own in-house packing and postal service. Please arrange your own packing/courier service. Light wear to the metal mounts, some light surface wear to the faux ivory grip where it is at the raised parts, some light pitting to the blade with a heavy area towards the end and a small 1mm nip from the blade at the very tip. Light surface pitting to the scabbard.

Some tarnishing to the metalware and surface scratches, a few tiny chips to the faux ivory grip, the button locking mechanism works well, light pitting to the blade, light surface wear to the scabbard, with three small dents to the end section. Sold with a silver thread portepee.

Minor wear to the gilding of the pommel and the crossguard. There is a 5mm crack to the upper section of faux ivory and rubbing to the remaining parts. The button locking mechanism works well. There is some pitting to both sides of the blade obscuring the decoration. Light surface pitting and two small dents to the scabbard.

A 19th century dagger with rounded rectangular shaped ivory grip, square section brass pommel, shaped crossguard and tapering blade, length 37cm. There are four natural splits to the ivory which are stained, surface scratches throughout, heavy rubbing and pitting to the pommel and brass mounts, and heavy pitting and nicks to the blade.

An ivory faced multi-tool comprising scissors, two knives, a screwdriver with small serrated edge, a spike and a corkscrew, unnamed, length 11cm. There is a 1.5cm x 8mm repair to the ivory on one side, also an unsightly circular area of damage on the same side to the opposite end. A couple of tiny chips to the edge of the ivory. Some pitting to the accessories. On the whole they lock tightly but a couple are loose. A few small chips to the edge of the knife blades. We think this item was made between 1880 and 1900.
