A very finely carved and pierced late 19th Century ivory Dolls House Set of Furniture, consisting of dressing table cabinet, a small wash cabinet, a small table, with two seater settee, and three chairs all en suite. Rare. (7) Provenance: Falmore Hall, Dundalk, Co. Louth, by direct descent to the present owner.
A very fine George III period c. 1790, mahogany Linen Press, the pierced and fret carved swan neck inlaid pediment with inset small ivory flower heads above a cornice with decoration, over two large crossbanded doors with inset oval panels, on a base with two short and two long drawers and bracket feet, 220cms (86 1/2") high, 127cms (50") wide, with stamped number on reverse. A Locke & Co Worcester condiments set to include plated condiments pots with silver plated tops ( one with spoon ) together with an open conserve / butter bowl. All having blushed ivory ground with ribbed design and acanthus leaf tops having printed mark in black to both and numbered 236 to the bowl. Measures 8cms high approx to pots. Condition good, no visible damage.. Measures: 9 cm H.
