A gold decorated kindjal dating: late 19th Century provenance: Caucasia Straight, double-edged blade, with ribbed tip, featuring a longitudinal, slightly off-centre fuller on both faces, the front one also decorated with gold-inlaid cartouches featuring floral motifs bordering the fuller and the base of the blade. Iron ring-nut decorated with gold-inlaid racemes at the front surface, the rear one with silver inlays and a golden, floral decoration at the centre; ivory grip, with two iron studs with cusped head and lobed margins, featuring gold-inlaid flowers; at the centre of the grip, on the front face, gold-inlaid chiselled racemes. Wooden scabbard with black leather covering, iron cap with loop, the front part entirely gold inlaid with racemes at the front part, the rear one gold and silver inlaid with a writing in Cyrillic.
