One panel decorated with a gold lacquer jardiniere issuing flowering branches in ivory and abalone, bounded by birds in flight and a ceremonial tea pot, the jardiniere stand naturalistically relief-carved in wood, the opposing panel with a similarly adorned hanging basket above a 'bronze' lacquer jardiniere, signed with a seal mark lower left, all within diaper framed borders and a foliated carved lower apron on stem feet, the verso applied with birds and flowerheads. each panel 78cm wide, 181cm high
