Auf dem Korpus umlaufend in kräftigem Halbrelief geschnitzte Figuren. Darstellungen von Bacchus und Ceres, Venus mit zwei Eroten, Herkules im Kampf mit Antäus, Nike, sowie der Darstellung eines älteren Mannes mit junger, unbekleideter Gespielin. Auf dem Deckel plastische Bekrönung in Form von Neptun, auf einem Muschelboot von zwei Hippokampen gezogen (bestoßen, die rechte Hand, der Dreizack und der Schwanz eines Hippokampen fehlen). Auf der Innenseite des Deckels fein reliefiertes Medaillon mit Darstellung des Hl. Georgs im Kampf mit dem Drachen, der Hintergrund mit Mica belegt. Im Vordergrund die gefangene Prinzessin und der Drache, die Figur des Hl. Georgs verloren. Der Boden mit fein geschnitzter Rosette (bestoßen). Beiliegend altes handgeschriebenes Etikett, bezeichnet "Kgl. Kunstkabinett, vom großen Kurfürsten stammend". The lid decorated with a terminal in the form of Neptune in a seashell boat drawn by two hippocamps (bumped, the right hand, the trident, and the tail of one hippocamp missing). On the inside of the lid a finely carved medallion depicting Saint George slaying the dragon, the background applied with mica. In the foreground the captured princess and the dragon, the figure of St. George lost. The base with a finely carved rosette (bumped). Enclosed an old handwritten inventory label, inscribed "Kgl. Kunstkabinett, vom großen Kurfürsten stammend". Elfenbeinhumpen mit spielenden Putti, deutsch, wohl Erbach, um 1870 Mehrteilig gearbeiteter, aus Elfenbein geschnitzter Krug mit scharniergelagertem Deckel und Bandhenkel. Abgesetzter Fuß mit Pfeifendekor, darüber Band- und Weinlaubfries. Auf der Wandung umlaufend eine plastisch geschnitzte antikisierende Szene mit einer Gruppe Putti in der Art von Bacchanten. Auf der linken Seite ein Putto mit Panflöte, dahinter ein tanzender Putto mit Weintrauben. Im Zentrum eine Gruppe von fünf Putti mit Ziegenbock und Weintrauben, gefolgt von einer Dreiergruppe trunkener Putti. Der gewölbte Deckel mit vollplastischem, traubenessendem Putto bekrönt. Henkel mit Akanthuslaubrelief. Hölzerner Boden, das Innere mit einem vergoldeten Kupferbecher ausgekleidet. A continuous carved, antique-style scene in relief on the body, with a group of putti in the style of bacchantes. A putto playing Pan's pipes on the left, behind which a dancing putto with grapes. At the centre, a group of five putti with a goat and grapes, followed by a trio of intoxicated putti. The domed lid embellished with a fully sculptured putto, eating grapes. The handle with acanthus leaves in relief. Wooden base, the interior lined with a drinking cup in gilt copper. Some light surface scratches in places and some specking to the glaze. There are two chips to the neck of the bowl which slots into the metal mount. FOUR CHINESE OPIUM PIPES (4)19th Century and laterOf various materials including; wood, bamboo and ivory, with brass and white metal mounts and one associated bowl, length of longest 57cm. Condition report:- Largest pipe shows evidence of glue repair around the metal pipe bowl mount otherwise appears in good order- Dark wood pipe with character marks has a large split running from one end to the brass mount; the cap to one end is also missing; brass pipe bowl requires securing and is rather loose- Bamboo pipe, cap is missing from one end otherwise with general wear- Bone pipe, both caps missing from each end; white metal mount is very loose.

A portrait miniature of a lady (2)English School, late 19th centuryDepicted bust length, wearing a black dress and choker, watercolour on ivory, mounted in a leather case, together with another of the same, both unsigned (2)The first, 8cm wide: 9.5cm highCondition report:The first displayed in a leather case with folding velvet lined sides. The portrait is not covered by glass. Some slight warping to the ivory ground, mostly a slight lift to the right side.  Some variation in surface finish, from a matt surface to a light sheen. A slight mark to the background over the left shoulder of the sitter.  Edges of the gilt card mount worn and frayed. Wear to velvet lining in areas, consistent with age and use. Marks and scuffs to the leather case, dirt and wear. An easel support the reverse. The second is the same sitter. The black paint is flaking extensively towards the bottom of the portrait and over her choker. The very thin sheet ivory surface is glued on to card, the reverse of which has the remains of a printed applied label  â€˜Portrait Painters Tuck’. Later frame - dirt, dust and minor tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
