Early 20th century French ivory casket, the hinged lid with watercolour on ivory depicting gallants, signed Voigt, 6.5cm x 14cm. CONDITION REPORT: The interior is a plastic on red stained wood, looking like tortoiseshell but it is not. The interior has a couple of chips. Exterior is yellowed with a few hairline crack to ivory but no losses. The watercolour is in good condition.
A 19th century Chinese carved ivory figure of a seated Buddha with adorned head, chest and arms, on double lotus base, height 14cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a peg to the top of the figure which indicates that there is something missing, otherwise appears to be in generally good condition apart from minor surface dirt and some areas of staining and surface wear to the base.
A Japanese Meiji period carved ivory netsuke of kneeling oni with pronounced spine and ribs, holding a basket on his back, scratched two character mark signature underneath, height 5.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: One foot has losses to two out of three toes on the back foot, some surface dirt and possible staining commensurate with age.
A Japanese Meiji period carved ivory figure of seated man descaling a fish at a board, on shaped oval base, raised on four peg supports, with scratched character signature underneath, 8.5 x 5cm and a smaller similar example, base 6 x 4cm (both af) (2). CONDITION REPORT: The larger figure is missing the blade of the knife. Head is possibly reglued. Surface dirt and minor surface wear commensurate with age. Radiant scratches underneath in area of each peg which are attaching parts of from the top of the base. The smaller example is missing both tools in his hands and the figure of the man has been reglued (peg missing). Natural inclusion/split to one of the blocks, a reglued chip to the collar, some surface dirt and staining and an area of burning to the edge, approx 2.5 x 1cm.
A Japanese Meiji period carved ivory figure group of two confronting kendo fighters with their master interfering, on shaped circular base with inset lacquer signature plaque and with scratched and stained double gourd flask, a kendo sword and tanto, diameter 5cm. CONDITION REPORT: A face guard of on the fighter's masks is detached but present. The handle of the master's sword appears to be reglued as well as the face guard of the other fighter. A few splits spreading from the edges. Scratched 253 and 34 underneath. Some surface dirt and some small areas of staining.
A 19th century tortoiseshell and ivory inlaid sarcophagus jewellery box with monogrammed "M" cartouche to top and rounded ivory feet, height 15cm, length 18cm. CONDITION REPORT: One ivory foot missing, missing bits of ivory banding and trim in three places on base and 3 places on lid. Both hinges damaged. Chips to tortoiseshell on all 4 corners of lid and 3 of the bottom corners of the box.
A late 19th/early 20th century tortoiseshell and ivory detailed trinket box with hinged lid centred with an applied rectangular vacant cartouche, 9 x 5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The box appears to be missing its original feet. Several chips to the tortoiseshell layer on the edges and one larger area of loss to the back near the hinge. Surface dirt and traces of wear. Splits to the ivory in area of the hinges. Interior with intensive perfume smell and with wear throughout.
An ivory and nickel mounted ivory slide rule, length 23cm, a Sampson, Aston Maker of Birmingham ivory and nickel mounted four fold hinged rule, a similar example by Rabone, two smaller unnamed examples, three simple ivory rules, two by Harling of London, the third stamped "Heywood's Patent Glazing, Westminster" and a bone paper knife (10).
A large ivory and brass mounted slide rule, by J. Long, London, length 33cm, an ivory and nickel mounted four fold rule by J. Buck of London, a similar slightly smaller example by J. Braham, Opticians, Bristol and two small ivory, nickel and brass mounted four sectioned hinged rules, one by T. Aston, the second by T.P. Elliott (5).
An unusual mid 19th century ivory and nickel mounted 24" four fold rule, slide rule and calipers set with engineer's gauges inscribed "J. Routledge, Engineer, Bolton", by "Apps, 433, Strand, London", a simple ivory two fold rule by Blueler of London, an ivory rolling rule by Troughton & Simms of London, an ivory nickel mounted slide rule and a further simple ivory rule (5).
A Royal Worcester blush ivory porcelain squat baluster vase with four lug handles, hand painted with floral sprays, marked to base in puce, date code for 1908, height 7.5cm, and a further vase with fluted neck, date code for 1901, a Locke & Co peacock decorated baluster sugar sifter and a G & Co Worcester jug (4). CONDITION REPORT: Shaped squat vase with shaped edge gilt wear to edge. Sugar sifter lid stuck and possibly recemented to pot.
A 19th century mother of pearl lozenge and ivory detailed card case with main panel to one side engraved with floral motifs, enclosing a silk compartmentalised interior, 11 x 8cm, and a further similar example with hinged lid (2). CONDITION REPORT: Box decorated with cartouche has mild surface scratching, relined. The other has three corners restored with filler but done well.

A 19th century gilt metal mounted and tortoiseshell circular Box with hinged cover, the cover decorated (probably on ivory) with a circular quarter-length female portrait study miniature, 8.5cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: There is chipping to edge of circular box at the foot, the chipping is approx. match head size, see images, also staining to the painting.

WATCH RECENTLY CLEANED AND SERVICED A 9-carat gold ladies Rolex Precision Wristwatch, the circular ivory face with Arabic numerals and signed 'Rolex Precision', the bracelet and movement stamped 375, contained within a green and gilt tooled Rolex Box, gross weight (including movement and glass) 22g CONDITION REPORT: Dial appears reasonable for age although upon close inspection under a loop the edges of the dial have minor pieces of enamel away. The hands seem to change OK, winds smoothly and appears to run and in good condition. No major dents to case sides or lugs or back although there is minor surface scratching. There are minor scratches around the ??? area British 9 carat gold hallmark. Box condition is good overall for age, minor scuffing to box extremities etc.,
