Twelve pieces in white, one flag missing, one soldier detached, two bases, two puzzle balls and miscellaneous small pieces, the queen has a damaged puzzle ball. Approximate total weight 450 g, 2nd set 15 pieces stained red, one pawn soldier has a missing head and swords, stain is worn in places. 16 pieces in white, pawns missing swords and one pawn is missing it's shallow base. Approximate total weight 500 g and 3rd set 16 pieces stained red, horse has been restored and four pieces are made of wood not ivory, the stain is worn in places. There are 15 pieces in white. Approximate total weight 140 g. Total weight 1108 grams

Ivory spandrels similar. In an indigo border of stylised turtle palmettes and bold rosettes between angular floral meander stripes. This carpet has good pile. Ends with fringes, secured. Selvages with touches of fraying in few small places. Classic for this type,. Good colours. I general this carpet is in good usable condition. Popular type at present market. Good furnishing piece.

AN EXTREMELY FINE PART SILK SIGNED ISFAHAN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIAapprox: 7ft.8in. x 4ft.6in.(234cm. x 137cm.)The ivory field with scrolling arabesques together with delicate floral and leafy vine and perching birds around concentric double floral and arabesque medallion with pendants. Light blue floral spandrels. in sandy beige border of stylised polychrome palmettes and arabesques between floral and plain stripes. This rug has full pile, very fine kurk wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. Slight localized loss of fringes in one corner. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Signature cartouche at one end. In general this rug is in very good condition. Very good colours combination. Attractive piece.

In light raspberry-red border of polychrome palmettes and meandering floral vine between light blue and flowering vine stripes. Outer reciprocal and plain stripes. Apart of slight wear on cord edges and few tiny splits at one end side edges, this carpet has good pile and in general is in very good usable condition. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq.cm; woven on silk foundation. Good colour combination. Very elegant and attractive piece.

Selvages original. Very good furnishing piece and good size, long and narrow, popular. In general very good usable condition. Attractive.
