A 17th century North Italian ebony veneered and ivory table cabinet, the crossbanded top with two rectangular panels and the sides centred by square panels, cast gilt metal carrying handles and cast and pierced corner mounts, the square and rectangular panelled hinged fall front enclosing an arrangement of seven short and one long drawer disguised as three, inlaid in ivory with squirrels, hares and scrollwork, cast lion mask back plates with double fish and scallop ring handles, surrounding a door with an arched panel depicting a flower filled urn, within engraved ivory veneered borders, the hinged fall front with contra partie panels of leaping hares and scrollwork, on later bun feet, 42.5cm wide x 31cm deep x 34.5cm high.Illustrated*** Labelled G. A late 17th century Dutch ebony rosewood tortoiseshell veneered ivory strung and mounted table cabinet, of breakfront outline, with moulded projecting cornice above a central architectural door with two niches flanked by cylindrical tapering columns, enclosing an arched mirrored interior with balustrades centred by a figure and buildings in a water landscape, with two curved front drawers above, cube parquetry 'floors', the three steps leading up concealing a drawer released by removing the two columns and flanked by two drawers, the door with a central starburst and geometric parquetry, a further drawer below, flanked by eight drawers with raised and fielded panel fronts, having panelled sides and moulded concave fronted spreading plinth base, on a late 17th century style table, the moulded rectangular rosewood top on an ebony underframe with spiral turned and square section legs united by stretchers.Cabinet 113cm wide x 38cm deep x 64cm highTable 119cm wide x 46cm deep x 66cm high.Illustrated
A George I style silver spirit kettle on stand, Mappin & Webb, London 1925, the burner, makers mark C & R C, of compressed baluster shape with a lower band of cut-card work, gadroon borders, ivory mounted scroll and foliate cast hinged swing handle, the hinged domed cover cut-card decorated and with a turned ivory finial, the stand cast with three foliate and double 'c' scroll legs on lobed and fluted pad feet, 35cm high, 65ozs.Illustrated.

FOUR JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD IVORY OKIMONOS, comprising a figure of a man with a monkey on his shoulder, height 12cm, a man carrying a basket with a boy on his shoulder, height 13cm, a man carrying a hare with a child carrying flowers at his side, bears incised marks to base and white metal plaque verso '1897-1922', height 13cm and man standing on rocks with a child perched on his shoulder, height 16cm, with four wooden stands which are associated (8) (condition: the man with monkey has a break around the raised ankle, the feet have been glued onto the ivory base, old yellow glue is visible, break around the monkey's arm on the man's head, man with basket and child, the base can separate from figure and has evidence of dried glue where it has been stuck on at one time, man with hare and boy has evidence of red staining in places, a few tiny nibbles to hare's ears, man on rocks has a glued wrist and the front section of rock has glued areas, also cracked below his lower foot)
A GEORGE V SILVER FOUR PIECE TEASET, of circular form, with wavy rims, teapot and hot water jug with ivory finials and handles, all pieces on three short cabriole legs with pad feet, makers Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1931/34, approximate gross weight 52.2ozt, 1623 grams (4) (condition: all pieces sit level on a flat surface, milk jug has two dents to the inner rim and a slight circular crease to body where top of leg has pushed in, the sugar bowl has a small dent and a crease in the base, the teapot lid doesn't close completely flush, ivory has closed splits to both finial and handle, the body has a number of dents in varying sizes, also the handle has come partly out of its socket at the top, the hot water jug has a few minor dents)

THREE JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD IVORY OKIMONOS, comprising a sectional figure of wood cutter carrying a bundle of sticks and an axe at his feet, height 20cm, figure of wood cutter with an adze over his shoulder and a basket in his hand, height 17.5cm and a figure of a man with a basket at his side, bamboo pole in one hand and a long knife in the other, height 17.5cm, with three wooden stands which are associated (6) (condition: the man with axe at his feet is sectional and is loose at the various joints, some have evidence of old glue especially where feet join the base and bundle of sticks to the back, section of rope missing over the shoulders to the bundle, gap at the back of the waist, the man with the adze over his shoulder has glued repair to keep basket attached to the body, also been glued at feet to base, chip to tied knot at waist, blade of adze split and glued at head to handle, the man with the bamboo stick and knife has glue at the join around back of head to his right ear and under the chin, other glued joins at arms and feet to base)
