A late 18th/early 19th century portrait miniature, a young lady, three quarter profile, painted on ivory and in gold coloured metal frame with hair back. Image size 58 mm x 45 mm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This miniature is in generally very good condition. It is glazed on both sides and it is unlikely that the miniature has ever been out of the frame. There is a small blemish to the left hand side of the image at 10 o'clock but other than this we can see nothing untoward with the painting. The frame is in good order. The hair back has one or two loose hairs which slightly spoil the neat and tidy effect of the lock.
A Georgian portrait miniature, gentleman in frock coat, oval, on ivory, in gold coloured metal frame. 50 mm x 37 mm. CONDITION REPORT: This miniature does appear a little faded. It is however probably light in palette anyway. The frame and glass are in good order and the miniature itself does not appear to have any damage. We have looked at the image under a magnifying glass and cannot see any damage.
A late Victorian portrait miniature, young girl with long blonde hair, on ivory, oval, in gold coloured metal frame. Image size 40 mm x 30 mm. CONDITION REPORT: This miniature is under glass and is in extremely good order. We cannot see any blemishes to the surface of the miniature which is unlikely to have ever been out of its frame. The frame itself is in good order as is the surface of the glass.

A late 19th century Cantonese carved ivory concentric ball, raised on a figural and lion carved stem. Height 14 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The stand is in generally good condition. The top of the stand is a little discoloured but in good condition. The turning beneath has a small section missing. The bobbin beneath that has two stress cracks. The remainder of the column is in good order. The base has a stress crack. The carved concentric ball appears to be in good condition from the outside but there is damage to the interior carving. It is difficult to see the extent of the damage as there are so many concentric balls. There are certainly some cracks and one or two losses.
