Minor chip to edge of top rim.
A mid-Victorian silver three piece teaset, by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company of Regent Street, comprising; teapot, twin handled sugar and cream, the teapot surmounted with a bird of prey, each piece being repousee decorated with C-scroll foliage and flowers, gross weight 51oz, London 1865, teapot h.19cm Condition Report / Extra Information Teapot - ivory insulators to handles missing, small dent to shoulder above marks. Cream jug - very small dent in corner of cartouche, small dents around spout/ Sugar jug - no apparent faults. All without engraving, all marks good, all with some polish residue.
A William IV coromandel fitted travelling toilet box, the brass bound box with fitted double lever lock by S Mordan & Co of London, the whole containing 10 various silver mounted glass toilet jars and scent bottles, the covers with pierced and engraved foliate decoration and further engraved armorial, the silver assayed Archibald Douglas and dated 1833, the pull-out tray opening to reveal three further fitted trays and fixed base tray, each tray velvet lined and containing a wide array of ivory handled tools to include; pair of cut throat razors, pocket knife, corkscrew, button hook, vanity mirror, shoe horn, files, thermometer etc (incomplete), the ivory each with penwork armorial, w.22.5cm, h.14.5cm, d.16.5cm Condition Report / Extra Information Some fine splits/ hairlines to veneers on back, top and right hand side only. All brass good. Hinge good. Mirror good. No key. Incomplete. All glass good, 16 squares per sq inch.
An early 19th century Chinese export gilt and black lacquer decorated needlework box, of octagonal form, the whole profusely decorated with chinoisserie scenes, the well-fitted interior complete with fitted tray containing a number of finely carved ivory tools to include; two clamps, thimbles, needle cases, pin jars etc, the base with further fitted writing drawer with hinged slope, w.36cm Condition Report / Extra Information Appears all original. Some fading and handling wear to hinged cover, but all side panels are very good. Handles good. Feet good. Lacquer work to interior immaculate. Appears to have been very little used. Fitted compartments good, no apparent losses or damage. All principal ivories good, some minor loose pieces with minor damage only. Basically excellent, barely used example.

A mixed group of carved ivory items comprising: five plain D-section finger rings; a D-section finger ring with hatched panel to the bezel; two plano-convex scarab beads; a phallus pendant; a plain D-section bangle; a round-section bangle with flowers and foliage to the outer face; a hollow-carved fist grasping a snake, screw thread to the wrist. 130 grams total, 20-102mm (3/4 - 4"). Property of a Warwickshire gentleman; formerly in the private collection of the famous actor Leslie Phillips; acquired 1950-1960. Born in 1924 in London, Leslie Phillips attended the Italia Conti Academy where he developed the slightly affected accent which became his trademark. He usually played a roguish, suave charmer, and also enjoyed successful comic roles in the early Carry On films and on radio’s The Navy Lark. He has appeared in more than fifty films, plays and TV series spanning six decades; and recently gained new fans through his appearances in the Harry Potter films. He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 1998 Queen's Birthday Honours; promoted to Commander (CBE) in the 2008 New Year Honours. [12, No Reserve] Fine condition.
