A late George III silver coffee pot, the finial with embossed fruit decoration, the top with gadrooned edge and scrollwork handle with acanthus thumb piece and ivory buttons over a faceted and squash form main body, the spout with acanthus decoration raised on a lotus leaf decorated circular foot (Newcastle 1834) 31.17 oz CONDITION REPORTS Now being sold as "Newcastle 1834" and not "London 1803". Some light scratches to the surface throughout. Hull and assay marks rubbed. There are signs of a hallmark to the right but indecipherable. The handle near the top around the ivory band has been soldered to both sides. Both bands of ivory with some cracks. Bottom of the handle by the ivory again has been soldered to both sides. Circular foot is out of circular. There is a large dent near to the spout together with various smaller dents. Lid is very wobbly, variosu light scratches throughout - see images for further dettails. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout

(12 1/2 x 19 3/4 in), sheet 345 x 510 mm. (13 1/2 x 20 in), minor spotting and surface dirt, both unframed, published by Walker, 1836, (2).
