A collection of Chinese ivory carvings comprising of a reticulated ivory puzzle ball, the outer ball with dragons chasing the pearl and the other 5-6 inner balls carved with geometric decorations, resting on a column stand held by a figure, c19th century. Diameter of ball 50mm, total height 21.5cm. Six carved ivory okimonos on hardwood stands, late 19th / early 20th century. The fisherman H9cm, and five graduating carved ivory elephants and a paper knife, late 19th / early 20th century. The tallest elephant H5cm, the paper knife L20cm. (14)

Y Early 19th century English school- a portrait miniature on ivory of a gentleman, blue coat with pink facings, image 6cms high, 20th century black frame 11 by 9cms; together with a 19th century Continental School portrait miniature of a gentleman, probably an overpainted photograph, in a glazed rosewood frame and swept gilt metal slip, image approximately 10cms high, frame 26 by 22.5cms; 'RB' after George Romney - a portrait miniature of Miss Martindale, initialled, image 9.5 by 6.7 cms; and another work by the same artist after Thomas Gainsborough- a portrait miniature of Mrs Richard Brinsley Sheridan, image 8 by 6.5cms (4) Condition Report: First slightly faded- small scratch to surface above head second- dirty under the glass- unexamined out of frame but looks to lack depth of colour and paint payers- suggesting photo underneath- frame generally fair to good but will benefit from a clean. After Ferdinand Preiss (1882-1943), a pair of Art Deco style, simulated ivory semi nude classical female figures, stamped 'F. PREISS', raised on circular onyx bases, each standing 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high. (2) * The figure with arms above head having right big toe missing (broken), the other with crack to left thumb, otherwise appear good.
