A Three Row Pearl Choker, the button shaped (probably freshwater) pearls strung to a diamond cluster clasp, an old cut diamond within a border of eight-cut diamonds in a white millegrain setting, total estimated diamond weight 0.35 carat approximately, length 35.5cm NB the pearls have not been tested The necklace is in good condition. It fastens with a tongue and box catch, and features a safety chain. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI2/I1/I2. The pearls are off-round. They vary in colour from white to ivory, with some pinky-green tones. They measure approximately 3mm. Gross weight 17.2 grams. CR made 16th April 2014
A Cultured Pearl Necklace, the graduated pearls knotted to a clasp, set with an old cut diamond, estimated diamond weight 0.35 carat approximately, length 38cm NB the pearls have not been tested The necklace is in reasonable condition. It may benefit from a re-string. The diamond setting is worn. It has a tongue and box catch, and features a safety chain. The diamond is in a silver fronted setting, on gold. It measures 4.34mm x 4.45mm x 2.58mm. The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour H/I, clarity SI2/I1. The pearls graduate from 2.5mm to 4.5mm. They are mainly an ivory colour, with pink and golden tones. Gross weight 6.6 grams. CR made 16th April 2014

The canted upper section with an out swept molded pediment, over a dentil spandrel molded frieze, over twin outset glazed doors, adorned by two recessed side doors, the bottom section consisting of a center arrangement of a drop front drawer facade with hinged green writing surface, over three long graduated drawers, flanked by twin banks of a small drawer over an inlaid cupboard door, the drawers and the doors each inlaid with an ivory shield escutcheon plates, raised on a platform base. 19th Century. Dimensions 93 x 74 x 20 inches (2.37m x 1.85m x 51 cm). One panel cracked.

A 19th Century Canton carved ivory pot, the pierced decoration set with Taoist figures and animals within foliage, bears Chinese character mark, 12.7 cm high CONDITION REPORTS General wear, scuffs and dirt, some slight yellowing. Some splits and cracks to sides. Some irregularities to shape of sides. Small section missing to lower edge of side where it meets the base, and some further chips / losses to lower edge of side. Some warping to sides, and sides appear to have been reglued to the base. An ivory inset section to interior of base around the edge. A crack / scratch across inside of base and some age cracking to circular surround to base. Condition of carvings otherwise appears reasonably good.
