Lot 155

Skid Row - Skid Row and Slave to the Grind albums Skid Row is a 1989 Atlantic records first pressing, matrix number R/S Alsdorf 7881936 1 B,1991 Atlantic records pressing matrix number WMME Alsdorf  756 782242-1 A2, original inner sleeve with Skid Row sticker. The Skid Row album has minimal issues to the cover and the original inner sleeve with the vinyl appearing to be in excellent condition, showing little in the way of marks or scratches, the Slave to the Grind album cover has some edge creasing and storage related marks and the vinyl is bright and very clean with a few slight marks and hairline scratches.  An overall very good copy of this sought after rock classic of the early 90s.

An early 20thc three section nickel plated flute with bakelite mouthpiece, marked on the mouthpiece section 'Jul Hein R Zimmermann, Leipzig', in a fitted case and with accessories. Makers name also marked inside the lid, flute 66cms long, case 43.5cms long *This flute has come by descent from the Hinrichsen family of Leipsig, owners of the music company C F Peters (Peters Edition), a German music publishing company. *CR Bakelite mouthpiece has a couple of minor marks, otherwise it seems generally fine.

A bisque head doll with weighted blue eyes, open mouth and jointed composition body, with a mechanism which moves the head when the legs walk, and with a crying voice box. Impressed marks, 'K & R, Simon & Halbig, 403'. 46cms high. *CR Head seems generally fine, quite dirty in places in particular under the hairline. Small area to the top of the body which has been repaired, general wear as you would expect to the arms.

A circa 1920's Lalique opalescent glass vase in the Moissac design, with a etched signature to the base 'R Lalique, France', and with an original sticker. Large chip to rim, 13cms high. *CR Large chip to the side of the rim which also takes in a little of the top of the rim, some wear to the base with some scratches and minor scuffs.

A set of six small Lalique glass bowls in the 'Barr' design, the clear glass bowls with a small frosted section showing a female mask. Etched signature, 'R LALIQUE'. 11cms diameter, 5.5cms high. (6). *CR One has two small nibbles to the rim, one has two small chips and a nibble to the rim, one has one small chip to the rim, one has a small nibble to the rim, two seem fine. All seem to ring nicely.

A Lalique two handled glass vase in the Ornis design, with bird shaped handles and in a topaz colour, Model No 976 and circa 1928. Signed to the base, 'R Lalique, France'.19cms high. *CR Small scratch to the side of the base and some scratches and wear to the base as you would expect over time. The body rings nicely, there is the odd minor mark or scratch to the interior and exterior.

A WILLIAM IV PAINTED WOOD TRUNCHEON DATED 1830 The tapering shaft with IV W R above a crown and BUCKS (Buckinghamshire) inscription and with ribbed handle 46cm long George IV died on the 26th June 1830, the fact that this truncheon is dated 1830 but with the new King's initials (William IV) this would indicate this is probably one of the first truncheon's produced during his reign.
