COOPER. 7/R.FUS., the British War Medal and Victory Medal marked L-11886 W.O. CL. 2 C.S. COOPER. R. FUS. Supplement to the London Gazette, 5, December, 1918. L/11886 C./S./M. C.S. Cooper, 7th Bn., R. Fus. (Tottenham, N.). For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during two attacks on a wood and a village. His company was badly cut up, and all the officers had become casualties. He reorganised the remnants and led them forward to the final objective with great determination. Working under very adverse conditions and in the face of intense fire this warrant officer set a fine example in maintaining the discipline and morale of the company.

SHELDON BAMBER LTD GLASGOW and SAMUEL BROTHERS LTDand HOBRON & SONS maker’s stamps. Silk liner and chin chain lacking, moth to peak and sides, helmet displays further helmet plate holes.

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.5 carats. Ring size R½ CONDITION REPORT Very good quality. Diamonds are all very well matched stones of good colour and clarity and appear lively white stones with no obvious inclusions when viewed with a loupe. Shank is slightly mis-shapen but the setting is still in very good condition
