At the beginning of the 19th Century Thomas Solowski took the work as part of family heritage. He then moved to Rawa Mazowiecka where he bought the Castle from the Leszczynscy (Polish aristocratic family). A pair of Royal Worcester cabinet plates, one centre field decorated with apples and strawberries, the other with peaches, grapes and strawberry, signed "R Sebright", within a gilt decorated royal blue border, inscribed verso with puce mark and "Maple", date marked for 1933, 22.5 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Condition generally good - some light scratches particularly visible to the blue cobalt border and some slight wear to the gilt work. The apples and strawberries plate - underneath the rim there is a very slight small chip - will attempt to photograph. The peaches and grapes plate - some scratches to the decoration with some possible repainting to the very small on one of the peaches. General limited signs of wear and tear throughout.
