An Argentine M1 steel helmet, front rim stamped 1858/B37. This is a repainted US rear seam M1 steel helmet with Argentine locally made liner. Repainted in grass green, complete with original liner and chinstrap. Liberated from The Falkland Islands at the end of the war in 1982 and found in a cabin in the troopship SS Canberra on her return to Southampton. Named to 5/162 CISNEROS MARCELLO R LUATIA (?). Being sold as part of a private collection.
