Hinton painted with two gun dogs watching flying partridge, with oak frames, the plaques measure 18cm x 23.5cm Condition report: The plaques are sealed in the original frames with paper, therefore the condtion of these items is only from the face of the plaque, the reverse and edges have not been inspected and are not guaranteed. Both plaques have overall crazing. No other damage or restoration to the face of each plaque, one has a small glaze flake. The Edges of the oak frames have small chips.

Indian School (19th Century) A Maharajah seated in a temple whilst dancing girls look on inscribed in Devanagri script along the top edge watercolour 19 x 14cm (7 x 5in) Other Notes: The script is Devanagari, the language appears to be Avadhi. In approximate translation : "Prostrations to R ? mak ? Chaitra Month. Prostrations to R /macandra, and then just R / ma". We are grateful to the Indian Community and Culture Association, Cambridge, for their assistance with the catalogue entry. One small area of rub/damage bottom right-hanjd corner. Edges scuffed and with one tear to the right-hand side.
