R.”, 1939-45 Star, Defence Medal and British War Medal, all unofficially named “CAPTAIN N HINCE”. Medals are swing mounted for wear and are accompanied by matching miniatures.

Medals remain in good condition. Kenneth Robert Gascoyne was born in Mooi River, Natal, South Africa. He served with 51 S.A.A.F Regiment from May 1942 until September 1943. He also served in Algiers with 44th S.A.A.F from April 1944 until July 1945.
WW2 Medals of Major R F Knight 13th (West Ham) London Home Guard, consisting of British War and Victory medals in original OHMS forwarding box addressed to “Mr R F Knight, 58 Baldry Gardens, Streatham, London S W 16”, large unofficial medal with HG to centre and 1940 1945 bordering, reverse engraved “MAJOR R F KNIGHT 13TH LONDON H.G for merit 1940-45” and 2x cased bronze shooting medals.
Vietnam Service Medal Pair Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery, group consists of Vietnam Medal 1964-73 awarded to “2251507 K R MAKER” and South Vietnam Campaign medal 1964-72 engraved to the reverse “2251507 K R MAKER”. Medals remain in good condition. Lance Bombardier Kevin Raymond Maker was born on 4th April 1949 in Nyngan, New South Wales, Australia. He served with the Australian forces in Vietnam from 27th August 1969 until 13th August 1970, serving with 131st Divisional Locating Battery.
A Very Rare Elizabeth Cross Awarded to a Member of the 13th/18th Hussars who Died in the Malayan Emergency in 1952, Elizabeth Cross (2009), awarded to “TPR R HALL 13/18 H 22446708”. Reverse is correctly stamped with the maker's mark, "G & N" (Gladman & Norman Ltd, which along with Worcestershire Medal Service Ltd is part of WM Holdings (UK) plc.) and with a full English (Sheffield) sterling silver hallmark corresponding to the year 2009. Trooper Roy Hall was born in 1933 and after the 2nd World War, enlisted into the 13th/18th Hussars. He served overseas with the unit in the Malayan Emergency, and died accidentally on the 26th May 1952, and is buried in Cheras Road Christian Cemetry, Kuala Lumpur.
4x Officers Cap Badges, being a fine gilt metal 14th Hussars with long lug fittings to the reverse, 13th/18th Hussars gilt metal with long lug fittings to the reverse, silvered 5th Dragoon Guards with long lug fittings to the reverse and fine silver gilt and enamel Cheshire regiment with J R Gaunt makers mark and lug fittings to the reverse. Royal Air Force B-Type Flying Helmet Originally Belonging to Sergeant (Pilot) Philip Colmer Eyre, Killed in Action when his Whitley Bomber was Shot Down by a Night Fighter over Holland 6th/7th September 1941, brown leather multi-panel flying helmet with split rear. Leather covered ear cups and chamois lining to the interior. No label or dates to the inside. Inked to the interior is “SGT EYRE 1165193”. The helmet is complete with wiring loom and a restored D-Type oxygen mask. The mask with green canvas body, securing straps with press stud fittings and black painted Air Ministry marked microphone. Inked to the inside of the mask is “SERGT PENNYLOCK”, indicating that this set has been put together at some point, either wartime or post war. 1165193 Sergeant Philip Colmer Eyre died 7th September 1941, aged 20, whilst flying Whitley Z6970 DY-R. He transferred into 78 Squadron in July 1941, Eyre being later transferred onto 102 Squadron later that year. Eyre, was the son of James Colmer Eyre and Annie Margaret Eyre, of Westminster, London. The aircraft was airborne at 2105 Hours on 6th September 1941 from Topcliffe and was shot down by a night-fighter and crashed at 0107 Hours at Sambeek (Noord Brabant), 26 km NE of Helmond, Holland with the loss of all those on board. The crew of 4 consisted of Sgt Phillip Colmer Eyre, Sgt Leonard Albert Stock, Sgt Kenneth Pearson Withyman and Sgt Thomas McGill. The crew are buried in Eindhoven (Woensel) General Cemetery, P C Eyre in plot JJ, Grave 37.

A Victorian emerald and diamond ring, the central square cut emerald flanked by old cut diamonds to each side and to each shoulder, size N/see illustration Condition Report: The shank has a small inscription 'R to E' to the outside. There is a line visible to the interior which suggests it may have been resized at some point. It is probably late Georgian rather than Victorian as catalogued. Inclusions to all diamonds, some more so than others and most visible to the naked eye. Scratches and minor chips to emerald. Some minor inclusions. Overall with some wear commensurate with age.
