A Pair of Silver Table Models of Pheasants, C J Vander, London 1986, modelled as a cock and a hen, the hen with outstretched wings, 24cm long, 26oz 12dwt (2) Provenance: The Estate of Mrs R D Peacock. Both with clear marks to table feathers, also struck with a further sponsor's mark GA. The tips of both tail feathers somewhat bent and could do with straightening. One claw bent upwards, but both stand well.

A Gold and Enamel Snuff Box, marked FJ crowned, a stylised flower, and a crowned R resembling the Paris date letter, probably Hanau circa 1800, also struck with French eagle post 1838 warranty mark for gold, oval with hinged cover, the sides, base and cover decorated with blue enamel over an engine turned ground, the cover set with an oval enamelled panel depicting classical figures in a garden setting, all within white opalescent and green enamel bead and ropework borders, large loss of enamel to base, 7cm wide . Marks struck to inside of cover, all three with some wear. Duty marks struck to rim. Large amount of loss to the enamel on base. Front panel has also had re-enamelling. Hairline crack to the inset panel in cover, and one or two scratches. Some discolouration and losses to the smalles enamel borders on the sides of the box, mostly below the hinge ant to the front. Cover closing well, hinge appears free from damage. 81.2gr.
