EVA RENEE (ER) NELE BODE (1932) German (Berlin) ‘Trees’ (1971) Framed and glazed black ink and wash. Signed and dated. Image size 35cm x 49.5cm. E. R. Nele (or Eva Renée Nele Bode) is best known as a German sculptor. Daughter of Anton Bode she studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and participated in Documenta II in 1959. Since the late 1960s, Nele has lived and worked in Frankfurt.
A continental silver bowl with engraved vine decoration to the exterior, the interior with engraved inscription, “G. P. CAPT. & MRS. K. J. PARFIT, FROM ALL RANKS AT, R. A. F. EPISKOPI, 15 SEPTEMBER 1975”, on three shaped legs with pad feet, marked “Silver, 800”, 5¾” diam. x 3” high. (Mostly probably Cyprus, which is where R. A. F. EPISKOPI was). 6.49oz.

The record (original serrated rim Parlophone white/red 'A' demo labels, with 'McArtney' misspelling both sides) is presented in lovely Ex+ condition. A fantastic example, there are only a couple of very light, minor and fine surface hairline marks to the very clean playing surfaces which retain their original lustre and gloss. With sharp and clean condition labels, the four prong centre fully intact. The labels are in lovely clean order. Matrix/mother stampers (machine stamped): 7XCE 18341-4 1 A & 7XCE 18342-1 3 R L with KT machine stamped on both sides of the runout.
