75th Anniversary of the British Numismatic Society, 1978, a cast silver medal by R. Elderton for the Royal Mint, hand holding an Alfred London Monogram type penny, medieval coinage piles and trussels around, rev. legend in 7 lines, shamrock, rose and thistle below, border of coins around, edge hallmarked London 1980, 76mm (W 3012 [not listed in silver]). Extremely fine, in green Royal Mint case of issue; together with original order form and a TLS to the recipient from J.E. Cussen, Royal Mint, 12 November 1980 £80-£100 --- The British Numismatic Society was founded in June 1903 and held its inaugural meeting on 30 November 1903. The letter from Mr Cussen makes it clear that the Mint had difficulties with this and other projects at the time of the anniversary, and the Society’s then treasurer, Robert Seaman, was instrumental in having this medal made as a replacement for an unwanted specimen in bronze

In the upper part of the image in the centre, a sporadic pressure mark from the rear mounting. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. 100-300 AD. Gandharan (or later) bronze sculpture of Buddha. He sits high upon a throne, holding the palm of his left hand in the air and the right one resting on his leg. He wears a simple monastic robe that clings to his legs, showing his bare chest. Incised lines has been added to suggest the folds of the cloth. The head is topped by an elaborate crown. Gandhara was an ancient region in the Peshawar basin in the north-west of the ancient Indian subcontinent (modern north-west Pakistan and South-east Afghanistan). The Kushan period (c. 75-451 AD) of Gandharan art, to which this figure belongs, was the golden age of artistic production in the area. Provenance: From the private collection of Mr. R. CATALOGUE AMENDMENT: The description for the C&R pink lustre mug 'Reform, Long Live the King' has been amended from George IV to William IV.A collection of early Royal Commemorative wares, comprising a Stone China William IV coronation mug, depicting 'William the Fourth, King of Great Britain', 'Coronation of King William the Fourth', and 'Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Adelaide', three magenta transfers, moulded handle and blue rim, 7cm high, a Regency Staffordshire china christening mug with moulded pale blue laurel wreath border and three applied figural mouldings, painted 'Robert Roberts 1825', 7.4cm high, an early 19th century pearlware pottery mug, with moulded gadrooned foot and rim, printed in black on pink lustre with a named and dated portrait of King William IV, the reverse with a crown inscribed 'Reform, Long Live the King', black printed mark to base 'C&R', 8.2cm high, a Regency pearlware dish with blue and white transfer depicting 'Her Majesty Caroline Queen of England', moulded rim, a/f cracked and repaired, 17cm, a Victoria Jubilee 1897 mug, 8cm high, and a George VI Coronation 1937 mug, 8.8cm high. (6) All in fair condition excepting the dish which is cracked and repaired. All mugs have no major damage but do have some small chips, crackleuere to the glazes, wear and scratches.

1999 KTM 660 Rallye Make: KTMModel: 660 RallyeYear: 2000Mileage: 0VIN: VBKGSD40XYM732908Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: V548KGXTransmission: manual640cc. Matching numbers. Built in 1999, this is one of 25 factory 660 bikes built, participating in the Dakar rally in 2000 and rally Moroc in 2005. Having mostly been unused since, the plan was to fully restore it but it was decided to leave it as original. It is believed that only two reside in the UK. It recently benefits from recommissioning and a full service when genuine KTM parts were used including new head-race bearings, fuel pump and lines, and carb repair kit. The graphics have been recreated as the old ones peeled off, it has a few marks from use as to be expected and the r/h rear tank has been converted into a storage compartment. Described as running and riding well. Imported into the UK in 2004 by well-known stunt man, Ray De-Haan who had purchased it from new and retained it until 2021. Ray finished 68th in the Dakar rally Comes with rally plaque, a quantity of spares and current and older V5s.

It comes complete with many receipts dating between the late 1980s and 2016, various MoTs from 1991 to 2018 when last issued, 1996 and 1999 bills of sale, older V5s and various other documents.
