Miniature group of three: CB, marked 18ct, CBE first type military, QSA 2 clasps CC, SA02. GVF. An old label states “Col B C McCalmont, CB, CBE, Royal Warwickshire Regt, part of miniature set. Complete set of originals given to Regtl Museum Warwick” Plate 2 Note: Col Barklie Cairns McCalmont served in S African War 1902, acted as Administrator No 9 Martial Law Area 12-27th Feb 1902. In command 5th Bttn R Warwick Regt 6th Jan to 31st May 1902. During the Great War he raised and commanded the 10th Service Bttn R Warwicks Regt. Died 30th April 1929.
