Ding to the front where the presentational engraving is. Two minor dings to other areas of the body. No repairs. Otherwise good condition.
A SUBSTANTIAL SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING set in a 18ct yellow and white gold classic crown setting the central diamond of estimated approx 2.2cts, is flanked by two oval sapphires of approx 7.7mm x 6.2mm. Finger size R, weight 6.9gms Condition Report:The diamond is a nice clean example, with one tiny tiny carbon feather and some even smaller crystal inclusions. It is however burnt, and would need re polishing to bring out its sparkle again. Sapphires have visible straight banding, mount all good.Approx dimensions of the diamond 8.11mm x 8.12mm x 5.34mm.

Comprising turned African blackwood with ivory and unmarked white metal mounts hand engraved with thistle (vendor has a copy of an email confirming the metal has been tested as sterling silver and email copy is included in the lot), Bannatyne pipe bag dressed in Douglas Modern tartan, a replacement blowpipe with silver mount, Glasgow assay 1939, sponsors mark for Robert G Lawrie, R G Hardie chanter also a replacement, silver mounted, Birmingham assay 1975 (chanter not ivory mounted), sponsors mark for F Narborough, also includes various accessories and ephemera.
