A pair of Victorian silver mounted telescopic opera glasses, R & J Beck Ltd import marks, London 1895, the folding lens frames to each terminal with slide mechanism to centre, with leather pouch (at fault) Condition report: The lenses have minor scratches and surface blemishes. The lenses would benefit from a clean. Folding mechanism and push mechanism are both in good working condition. General tarnishing seen throughout. Possible areas of replacement (see image) The leather pouch is at fault with rips and parts detached. Marks are rubbed.

A 19th century yellow metal and diamond snake ring, the head of the snake set with two graduated old cut diamonds and red stone eyes, leading to twisted shank with engraved detail, unmarked, ring size R, 12gms, total diamond weight estimated 0.30ct Condition report: Please note, we have not tested the metal. Red stones to the eyes are rubbed and the rub over mount is low. Diamonds are both present, bright and lively. Diamonds with inclusions seen under x10 loupe, but appear eye clean.Ring would benefit from a clean. Claws are a little low. The mouth of the snake appears to have been pushed in a little, possibly while being worn.The engraving is only present on the sides of the coils, possibly was all over, but now has rubbed away. There is evidence of possible engravings to the interior of the ring as well. There are no obvious signs of re sizing or repair work seen to the shank. There is minor thinning to the tail of the snake. The coils of the snake are compressed together, may have occurred naturally commensurate with age and wear.

A George III brown glass wine bottle, early 19th century, of short necked mallet form, the tapering neck with prominent sloping rim, the wide cylindrical body with unpolished push-up base, applied to the front with a circular relief moulded seal for 'R Jeffery 1803', 26cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:Under strong daylight, the bottle shows an internal line which appears to run most of the length of the bottle but is not surface reaching at any point. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to determine the nature of this line.
