Edwardian cased Pike, circa 1905, the cased trout of large proportions above the reed bed, a pen written label 'Bottom strand depth Spinner of space for Trout with which the 23Lb Pike was caught, 12th May 1905, James R Hill, also with a newspaper article with the text 'The record catch of this seasons fishing was accomplished on Friday afternoon last, when Mr Hill, Blencathra Street, landed a pike off Brandlehow Point, which sealed 22 1/2 lbs.
