Tandy (British, b. 1942) David Bowie from ' The Camp Art ' series, 2022 Acrylic on canvas Signed  Dated to back Unframed Measures approx. 91cm x 61cm (36" x 24") Michael R Tandy has been a professional artist for the past 55 years, elected a member of The Royal Society of British Sculptors in London in 1982. One example of his work, The Life Size Family of Bald Eagles, which took eight months from start to finish to complete, is housed in Buckingham Palace. The five feet in length sculpture is the largest ceramic sculpture to be cast in bone china in England. Other sculptures in the Royal Collections are the Sacker Falcon. Also, a ceramic Black Rhinoceros housed with The Prince of Wales at High Grove, Tetbury, Gloucestershire.  The artist studied at art school Sculpting, Painting, followed by 4 year apprenticeship in ceramics, going to be head ceramic sculptor for Boehm of America UK. Michael is an accomplished painter of many subjects that include Wild Life, Portraiture, Modernism.

Nederlandstalige wereldbol, origineel van Dr. R. Neuse, met Nederlandse redactie van R.E. Kaltofen, Uitgegeven bij de erven van J. Bijleveld, Utrecht, Zuid- Afrika was nog Kaapland, Nederlandsch Indie, etc. De bol met messing gradenboog, Op gedraaid houten stam en ronde voet, Kaltofen, circa 1930 hoogte 51 cm, diameter bol 25 cm. Conditie: voor de leeftijd zeer goed. Kleine krasjes en roestplekjes, maar wel fraai.
