An Anglo Indian silver Madras Polo Tournament 1905 trophy, presented by Rajah Venucopala Bahadur won by The Carabiniers, the trophy bowl embossed with four cartouches of polo players on horseback surrounded by embossed foliate detail with acanthus leaves, raised upon four polo sticks in a laurel wreath above polo balls on a circular foot ring with lapet decoration, the body engraved with two bands 'Madras Polo Tournament 1905 .. and Mr M.N Kennard, Major S.R Kirby, Capt. G Haseltine Capt. H.C Birkfor, height: 32.5 cm, weight: 870gms, unhallmarked The Indian Polo Association formed in 1891, with Col. Henry Spencer Follett of the 7th Dragoons Guards appointed as Hon Secretary. By 1902 soem 175 clubs had afiliated to the Indian Polo Association. Tournaments included the Open Championship, Inter-regimental Tournament. The Indian Polo Association Team won the first Coronation Cup in England in 1911, the team included Leslie Cheape, Shah Mirza Beg, R. Gerald Rotson and Vivian Lockett.

GWR brass cabside numberplate GWR 312 ex Llanelly & Mynydd Mawr Railway 0-6-0 T built by Andrew Barclay in 1907 as work number 1111 and named George Waddell. At the grouping of 1923 it was rebuilt at Swindon and delivered back to Llanelly in 1927 where it remained until sold in 1935 to R. Razer & Sons who then sold it to Broomhill Collieries in August 1935. It remained there as number 312 until being scrapped in April 1961. Face restored and stamped in the rim G. WADDELL.
Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RY CO MAKERS DONCASTER WORKS No 1233 1909 ex GNR Ivatt Class D1 4-4-0, later Class D2 numbered 48, LNER 3048 and 2199. Allocated BR number 62199 but never renumbered. Withdrawn from 38A Colwick in July 1949 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Oval hand engraved brass lightly face polished and stamped in the back R 3048. Measures 17.5in x 9.5in. face polished.
Worksplate R & W HAWTHORN LESLIE & CO LTD ENGINEERS NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE 3401 - 1920 ex Taff Vale Railway Class A 0-6-2 T numbered 400 and later GWR 386. Allocated to Barry and 88E Abercynon from where it was withdrawn in March 1956 and scrapped. Oval cast brass, face restored, measuring 6in x 4in.
