An inlaid Edwardian small mahogany bracket clock in Regency style with brass mounts, the convex white dial signed R. H. Halford & Sons, 43 Fenchurch Street E.C. NOTE. This clock was bought from Messrs. Shoolbred, Tottenham Court Road, in 1928. It is listed as Sheraton clock and cost 3 guineas. (See illustration)
A large gilt framed and glazed (later) 19th Century watercolour Study "A View of The Bay of Naples" signed and dated lower right Henry Cook, 1857 (A London painter of landscapes, portraits and battle scenes Henry Cook studied under F R Say and at the Academy of St Luke in Rome, he exhibited at the Royal Academy, British Institutions, Suffolk Street and elsewhere, titles at the Royal Academy include some views in Italy where Cook lived for several years painting battle scenes for Napoleon III and Victor Emmanuelle, some of these are in the Quirinal Palace and The Capo Di Monte Museum in Naples. Among his patrons were Queen Victoria) 18" x 32½"
A HEAVY BRASS H.M.S. TOWER PLAQUE inscribed `God Save The King and His Tower` mounted on a mahogany shield, plaque approximately 6 3/4" diameter, overall measurement 13" x 9" (see illustration). Note: H.M.S. Tower was a modified R-Class destroyer of the Royal Navy, built by Swan Hunter and launched on the 5th April 1917. She is noted for having the first modern Royal Navy`s ships badge.

Addressed ‘To the Right Honorable Edward Baron Belper of Belper in the County of Derby’ from the inhabitants of the town and signed by Robert Hey, the text with illuminated capital letters below a coat of arms, within a three-quarter border of foliate design in gouache, ink and gilt, by W. Cubley Jun’r. (Minor surface damage, minor creasing.) Provenance: Beverly Battersby.
