An Apsley Pellatt scent bottle with a sulphide of Princess Charlotte, the silver gilt mounts by G R, London 1821, the flattened ovoid sides ribbed, the profile to one side and diamond diaper cutting to the other, the foot star cut, 8.5cm (3.25 in) high 5553 paid £1150. Hafner Breman, the circular dial set with Roman numerals, dial diameter of both approx 4.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Both watches running and point of cataloguing but this is not a guarantee of working order, West End Watch Co example lacking suspension ring and with substantial wear to originally plated case, surface wear to Hafner example also, rear section of West End Watch Co example rather loose.
A group of five pair cased pocket watches for restoration, the inner and outer cases variously hallmarked for George III and later or unmarked, signed movements including John Edmond of Liverpool (no.2233) and Brawd of Liverpool (no.10704), both with pierced and bright cut foliate scroll decoration, also a hallmarked silver cased open face key wind pocket watch with signed movement by R. Summersgill of Preston (no.1057). CONDITION REPORT: As stated the pear cased watches all in need or restoration with various and numerous faults including cracked dials, dented and split cases, untested movements etc, final pocket watch with hairline cracks to dial and dented case.

Equestrian Interest 19th Century Oil On Canvas Housed in original, ornate gilt gesso frame. Depicts a white horse with bridle and saddle resting at a cottage door. Above hangs a caged magpie, below a small grey terrier looks toward the horse whilst a spaniel sleeps on the ground. Signature barely visible to bottom left 'R Ansdell' 14 x 18 inches.
