A good officer`s 1861 (Quilted) pattern gilt shako plate of The 86th (R County Down) Regt, with a contemporary studio photo of the officer showing the plate on his shako, name on back "A Collingwood" (Arthur B Collingwood, Ensign 1866, Lieut 1869). Near VGC Received too late for illustration.

A silver mounted Doulton pottery presentation or commemorative mug of the Loyal Suffolk Hussars, silver rim HM B & S Ltd B`ham 1915, and middle band engraved with regimental badge and "Trooper E R Taylor, Woodbridge & Leiston. November 11th 1914 to August 28 1915", height 4". GC (small faint crack by handle)
An 1892 pattern infantry officer`s sword, straight fullered blade 32", by Wilkinson, no 31401 (for 1892) etched with crowned R Arms, VR cypher and wreath in foliate geometric panels with owner`s name "ADC Ramsay July 12th 1892" in scrolls (Lieut. Indian Staff Corps 1894, Capt 1901), regulation triple bar hilt incorporating crowned VR cypher, wirebound crocodile skin grip, in its plated scabbard. Basically GC (hilt plated, some wear and rust patches overall)
An Ed VIII 1897 pattern infantry officer`s sword of the R Marines, straight, fullered blade 32½", by J Jones & Co, 33 St James Square, London, W, no 16845, faintly etched with Ed VIII cypher, crowned R Arms and "The Royal Marines" with badge, in scrolled panels, plated regulation hilt incorporating Ed VIII cypher, pommel and diced backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, with leather knot, in its plated scabbard, in leatherette case (worn) with leather FS scabbard. Basically GC (blade worn and replated, pitting patch to scabbard)
A German M1871 Mauser bayonet, the 18" blade stamped "W R Kirschbaum, Solingen", brass hilt with recurved steel quillons, the crosspiece stamped with regimental markings, in its brass mounted leather scabbard, the chape also stamped with regimental markings. GC (some wear to blade, scabbard leather split and kinked)

Very good condition with a clean, 3" tear top centre that has had a piece of tape applied on the rear at some time.

Published by the Railway Executive Eastern Region and printed by John Waddington, Leeds & London. In exceptional condition with the smallest of edge tear top right margin.
Worksplate Great Northern Ry Co No 1170 Makers 1907 Doncaster. Oval engraved brass 17½" x 9½", ex GNR Class D1 4-4-0 number 1180 only five being built to order number 252. Renumbered by the LNER to 4180 in 1924 and later, in 1946, to number 2193. The loco just survived into BR days and was destined to become 62193 but was withdrawn in June 1949 before the new BR numbering or smokebox plate was applied. Marked in rear 4180 `R`, this is a quite wonderful worksplate.

Very good condition. Together with a modern Poster, London Underground "St. Katherines Dock By Tube" by Jacqueline Rizvi, measures 30" x 20"approx. View of the Docks and a pair of sailing boats. Very good condition.

Wonderful, vibrant beach scene of Newquay with children playing in rock pools and other holidaymakers at the water edge, from a painting by Leonard Cusden. Published by the GWR and printed by Stafford & Co, Netherfield, England. Folds and extremely minor edge crease, otherwise quite wonderful.

Posters, qty 2 British Railways D/R Map Of System, a BR(W) dated 1958 and a BR(E) revised 1953. Displayed back-to-back in polythene. Together with qty Stock Posters comprising Britannia no 70000 and King 6028, both by Wolstenholme, both cut down so that the image and a small amount of white is left. Also 2 Q/R posters with text removed comprising:- Cuneo Warship being built at Swindon from the Progress Poster and Fishguard Harbour by John Smith.
Worksplate Manning Wardle & Co Ltd., No 2000 Leeds 1921. Oval brass, approximately 11" x 6" also engraved `Rebuilt 1939 R. Stephenson & Hawthorns. The number `30` is clearly stamped on the rear of the plate. Ex 0-4-0ST used by the Central Electricity Generating Board at the Lister Drive Generating Station, Liverpool where it carried the Number 2. An extremely desirable plate indeed.
Brass Plate `AM Contract No A 82653 AM Ser No. 203 Year Of Supply 1952 Makers R. Hudson Makers No. 90698`. This company certainly manufactured narrow gauge coaches etc so this is most likely from a 2` Gauge wagon or other rolling stock. The `AM` almost certainly Air Ministry so most likely in use at a Military Armament Depot such as Chilmark, Dinton, Fauld or Harpur Hill.
LMS Q/R Poster ‘London By LMS – Trooping Of The Colour – Whitehall’ by Christopher Clark R.I. Sadly the poster has been taped in a number of places around the periphery and on the bottom right of the image and also has numerous tears, so, would require some TLC. Together with a well worn Station Master’s Hat, a GWR Holiday Haunts 1916 Booklet, a rather nice fold-out linen Railway Map of London 1914, a silk scarf map of the London Underground and finally a Victorian Wooden Police Truncheon with the initials ‘V.R.’ above the crown and ‘R. Police’ beneath. Stamped into the shaft just above the handle is ‘DCC No 102’. Almost 16” in length, 5” of which constitute the serrated style handle. Reasonable condition with plenty of knocks and paint loss.
