Knight (Knox) on his fine score inn the Competition, a letter dated May 1947 from Ralph B Knight to Mr Butler asking £3.00 for the chess set, a letter from Mr R Dolland to Mr D Butler thanking him for the information regarding Knox, and a Newspaper article, with 'The Philosophy of Chess' by William Cluley, a Chess Printing kit and small chess set Condition Report Some age related minor damages with all knights lacking finish, slight crack to black king, queen, rook, one pawn, one pawn & bishop with loss. Along with a large collection of Scalextric Digital Sport track (unboxed, but mint).

Both train sets being complete, but without track. Boxed.

Ward ' made ' Rickwood ' and ' Woodside ' wooden 00 gauge railway trainset trackside wooden buildings etc. Comprising: Woodside: No. 1 W/P1 Platform, No. 3 W/1P Island Platform, and No. 7 W/GD Goods Depot. Rickwood: No. 9 R/P1 Platform, No.10 R/P2 Platform and No. 13 R/OV Covered Overbridge. All appear as ex-shop stock, within their original cardboard box with simple green-printed text label to side. All appear mint, and are presumed complete. Great rare railway related models.
F Craig R A (1874-1918) delightful pencil sketch book dated 1893. Frank Craig was a portrait artist and illustrator he studied at the Lambeth School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools. His illustrative output for periodicals was profuse; he worked for Scribner's Magazine, The Graphic, Harper's and Nash's Magazine,etc. He was also much in demand as a book illustrator, and his work accompanied some of the era's most famous authors: Rudyard Kipling, R.W. Chambers, F. Marion Crawford, Arnold Bennett, Maurice Hewlett. Craig exhibited at the Royal Academy and in Paris, and won a gold medal for portraiture at one of the early 20th century Paris salons
